Daily action items by date

All reading responses are due by 11:59PM on the date they appear below. In other words, we will cover that material the following day in class.  All "Ser" problems are from the "problems" section at the end of the chapter in the 8th edition, linked in the assignment.

8/28-30 (Weekend):
● Read Ch 23 sec. 5-7 (and post, as always)

● Begin Ch 23 Quest assignment.  You will need to check our Quest class regularly throughout the term to see what is assigned and when it is due.  I recommend checking Quest at least three times a week to stay aware of assigned material and due dates, which will not be posted here.

● Begin Serway Ch 23 (sec. 1-4) probs. 8,9,10,23,25,26 (See answers).  All assigned Serway problems are from the "Problems" section at the end of the chapter.  These will be due in class on Wed. 9/2, handwritten on paper, and there will be a quiz covering these and the Quest 23 sec. 1-4 homework.  In the future, you will have to look for the due dates and quiz dates on this calendar on the date they will occur.

8/31 (Mon):
● Cover 23.5-7

9/1 (Tues):
● Read 24.1-24.2 (and post, as always)

● Begin Ch 23 sec. 5-7 Quest assignment. 

● Begin Serway Ch 23 (sec. 5-7) probs. 35,36,37,40,41

9/2 (Wed):

● Serway Ch 23 (sec. 1-4) probs. 8,9,10,23,25,26 due today in class.

● Quiz on 23 sec. 1-4 homework at end of class.

● Finish 23.5-7, and start 24.1-2

9/3 (Thurs):
● Read 24.3-24.4

● Begin Ch 24 (sec. 1-2) Quest & Serway probs. 4, 5, 10, 14a, 17, 19

9/4 (Fri):
● Serway Ch 23 (sec. 5-7) probs. 35, 36, 37, 40, 41 due today in class.

● Quiz on 23 sec. 5-7 homework at end of class.

● Cover 24.3-4

8/26 (Wed):
● Enroll in our Quest class.  See syllabus for instructions.  First obtain a UT EID.  Second, enroll via this link.  You must monitor our Quest course website regularly to be aware of available Quest assignments and due dates, which will not be posted here.  The first assignment should be available to you already.

8/27 (Thurs):
● Read 23.1-23.4 (and post responses via corresponding link in first column, which goes without saying in the future)

● First lab meeting.  Please arrive before the scheduled start time.  There is nothing to do to prepare for the first lab.
